13" x 40" Gear Head Lathe w/ Acu-Rite 203 DRO, 2HP, 230V 1PH(GH-1340)

Built around a 13" swing and 13x40 capacity, the JET GH-1340 Gear Head Engine Lathe gives operators the rigidity and control needed for demanding, repeatable turning work.

A 2" spindle bore and 39" between centers put the GH-1340 ahead of comparable lathes, letting larger-diameter material pass through the headstock while supporting long-bed turning operations.

Power comes from a 2 HP Single-Phase motor feeding a 8-speed gear head (90-2000 RPM), delivering steady torque across a wide range of turning, facing, and threading operations.

As configured here, the GH-1340 includes a Acu-Rite 203 digital readout, giving the operator real-time positional feedback to cut setup time and reduce scrap.

Standard industrial safety features include:

• Electronic chuck key holder to reduce the risk of a key left in the chuck
• Foot brake for rapid spindle stopping
