The JET GH-1340 13x40 Gear Head Engine Lathe is built for shops that need 13" of swing and dependable, all-day turning performance without cutting corners on operator safety.

The GH-1340's 39" distance between centers and 2" spindle bore give operators the reach and through-capacity needed for longer shafts and bar stock passed directly through the headstock.

The geared head is turned by a 2 HP Single-Phase motor, offering 8 spindle speeds spanning 90-2000 RPM for flexibility across materials and cut depths.

This configuration of the GH-1340 adds a collet closer, which speeds up workholding changeovers and improves repeatability on small-diameter or bar-fed parts.
