13" x 40" Gear Head Lathe w/ NMS300 DRO, 2HP, 230V 1PH(GH-1340)

Built around a 13" swing and 13x40 capacity, the JET GH-1340 Gear Head Engine Lathe gives operators the rigidity and control needed for demanding, repeatable turning work.

A 2" spindle bore and 39" between centers put the GH-1340 ahead of comparable lathes, letting larger-diameter material pass through the headstock while supporting long-bed turning operations.

Power comes from a 2 HP Single-Phase motor feeding a 8-speed gear head (90-2000 RPM), delivering steady torque across a wide range of turning, facing, and threading operations.

This configuration of the GH-1340 adds a Newall NMS300 digital readout for precise, at-a-glance positioning that reduces reliance on manual dial counting.

Standard industrial safety features include:

• Full-length splash guard
• Lead screw cover to keep debris out of the drive mechanism
• Integrated coolant system
