The JET GH-1440-1 brings 14x40 capacity and a 14" swing to shops that can't afford downtime, combining rigid cast iron construction with industry-standard safety equipment.

With 40" between centers and a 2" spindle bore, the GH-1440-1 handles longer workpieces and larger stock than typical shop lathes in its class, reducing re-chucking and secondary operations.

Behind the headstock sits a 2 HP Single-Phase motor, and with 8 spindle speeds across 90-1800 RPM, operators can dial in the right speed for nearly any material.

This configuration of the GH-1440-1 adds a collet closer, which speeds up workholding changeovers and improves repeatability on small-diameter or bar-fed parts.
