Long workpieces are no problem: the GH-1440-1 offers 40" between centers alongside a 2" spindle bore for feeding larger-diameter bar stock straight through the headstock.

A 2 HP, Single-Phase motor drives the geared head through 8 spindle speeds (90-1800 RPM), giving operators the torque and range needed for roughing, finishing, and threading in one machine.

This particular GH-1440-1 package is equipped with a Newall NMS800 digital readout, giving the operator real-time positional feedback to cut setup time and reduce scrap.
