A 2 HP, Three-Phase motor drives the geared head through 16 spindle speeds (45-1800 RPM), giving operators the torque and range needed for roughing, finishing, and threading in one machine.

This configuration of the GH-1440-3 adds a Acu-Rite 203 digital readout for precise, at-a-glance positioning that reduces reliance on manual dial counting, and a taper attachment kit for accurate, repeatable taper turning independent of the compound slide.
