14" x 40" Lg Spindle Bore Gear Head Lathe, 5HP, 460V(GH-1440ZX)

Built around a 14" swing and 14x40 capacity, the JET GH-1440ZX Large Spindle Bore ZX Gear Head Lathe gives operators the rigidity and control needed for demanding, repeatable turning work.

A 2.55" spindle bore and 40" between centers put the GH-1440ZX ahead of comparable lathes, letting larger-diameter material pass through the headstock while supporting long-bed turning operations.

Power comes from a 5 HP Three-Phase motor feeding a 12-speed gear head (36-1800 RPM), delivering steady torque across a wide range of turning, facing, and threading operations.

As configured here, the GH-1440ZX includes 460V, 3-phase input power to drop directly into facilities running higher-voltage 3-phase service.
