Long workpieces are no problem: the GH-1640ZX offers 40" between centers alongside a 3-1/8" spindle bore for feeding larger-diameter bar stock straight through the headstock.

A 10 HP, Three-Phase motor drives the geared head through 12 spindle speeds (26-1500 RPM), giving operators the torque and range needed for roughing, finishing, and threading in one machine.

This particular GH-1640ZX package is equipped with a collet closer for faster, more repeatable workholding on smaller-diameter stock and bar work.
