Built around a 16" swing and 16x60 capacity, the JET GH-1660ZX Large Spindle Bore ZX Gear Head Lathe gives operators the rigidity and control needed for demanding, repeatable turning work.

A 3-1/8" spindle bore and 60" between centers put the GH-1660ZX ahead of comparable lathes, letting larger-diameter material pass through the headstock while supporting long-bed turning operations.

Power comes from a 10 HP Three-Phase motor feeding a 12-speed gear head (26-1500 RPM), delivering steady torque across a wide range of turning, facing, and threading operations.

As configured here, the GH-1660ZX includes a taper attachment kit, giving operators precise control over taper angles without disturbing the compound rest setting.
