M10 lock nut, factory-spec hardware that crosses JET's lifting and lever-hoist fleet — J-8201 jack, JLH lever hoists, JLP-A lever hoists, L100-100 chain hoist and the S90 manual chain hoist line. OEM JET part; the lock feature resists vibration loosening at the higher torque points where M6 hardware would bottom out. Replace once-removed.
